Lacquers
and Paints- Exterior Use
For windows, doors,
garden furniture, panelling and other items exposed to the vagaries
of weather and variations in temperature Becker Acroma has a range
of lacquers and paints to do the job of making them beautiful, while
providing protection against the elements.
The Benefits:
Protection against UV, rain and moisture
Protection against temperature variations
Highly resistant to chemicals and abrasion
Fast cure
Stops knot resin
Safe and easy to use solvent borne coatings.
Our approach to paint formulation is good for the environment and your workplace.
Becker Acroma uses mild solvents such as esters and alcohols - they do not
use aromatic hydrocarbons carbons.
One-pack systems
One-pack systems are often the easiest to work with
because of their good application properties and long pot life. Most are fast
drying, especially at increased temperatures and some have a built-in hardener
that activates on application.
Two-pack systems
Two-pack systems require a hardener or catalyst
to dry/cure. They typically have excellent application, curing and stacking
properties in modern application lines and produce hard, chemical-resistant
surfaces.
Typically, our two-pack systems consist of polyurethane
and acid-curing products. The largest two-pack group is acid-curing products.
Using acid-curing products is cost-effective, offering fast curing, chemical
resistant, attractive surfaces, all while meeting the E1 limit for formaldehyde
emissions.
The Benefits:
Excellent application properties
Fast drying times
Durable, quality finish and wear resistance
Mild solvents – good for environment and workplace

What’s the deal with UV?
The
deal is this: UV
curing products cure in a split second, produce exceptionally durable
surfaces and have excellent stacking qualities. They are also safer to
handle than conventional solutions when handled correctly.
And that’s just for starters...
In their basic format all of our UV curing products are
solvents-free, which is good news for indoor and outdoor environments, while
you save time in cleaning up after a production run.
Becker Acroma is developing new application technology
to widen the application of UV curing products. These new developments include
sprayable and pigmented paint UV products that broaden our customer’s
scope for dreaming up and making new products. And getting them to market
quicker.
Let us help you to make the switch and open new doors.
The Benefits:
High quality, exceptionally durable surfaces
Rapid process
Big productivity gains
Cost efficiency
Dramatic reductions in solvent emission

Less hassle, great finish!
For profiled or planar surfaces, Becker Acroma waterborne
UV curing products produce beautiful, strong and resistant surfaces. Our
fast-drying UV system simplifies handling, enhances the end result and is
good for the environment.
Containing no organic solvents, there are no harmful emissions.
Machinery and other line equipment can be cleaned with water that can then
be recycled in the production process. Our solutions also create a safer
working environment because we have minimized the risk of skin irritations
and allergies.
Our range combines UV technology with the application flexibility
of waterborne technology and the finish and surfaces possible with our solutions
is on a par with conventional finishing techniques.
From a cost point of view, our waterborne UV curing products
boost throughput while involving minimal or no investment in new equipment.
Also requiring less equipment than conventional solutions, they enable easier
handling; shorter curing times and can be used on existing lines with only
minor adjustments.
The Benefits:
High-quality finish and surface resistance.
Requires minimal or no investment
No organic solvents – good for the environment
Minimize the risk of skin irritation and allergies
