The Inpro affords effective respiratory protection
during NBC emergencies for toddlers and infants for extended
periods, while assuring maximum comfort and allowing normal
activity for the infant (eating, lying down, walking, playing)
and for the parents (carrying, feeding and diapering the infant,
and comforting with pacifier).
The Inpro and Respro are positive-pressure hooded respirator
systems developed by Shalon and the Israel Defense Forces,
designed to protect infants and children from nuclear, biological
and chemical (NBC) agents for extended periods of time in the
event of an emergency. Both respiratory systems utilize a battery-operated
blower to supply a constant flow of filtered air to the hoods.
The Inpro and Respro extend the SURVIVAIR® line of high
quality respiratory protection equipment. SURVIVAIR is an authorized
U.S. distributor of Shalon Chemical Industries Ltd.
